The Alamo Documentary - is Here!

Wow! I really loved the movie The Alamo Documentary. The movie is absolutely stunning with top-notch graphics and visuals while Frank Thompson (IV) deliver some award-winning performances in this movie. I also think Joseph Musso was great! The visuals and graphics make for some very realistic on screen special-effects but that is the beauty of the movie. When the movie wants to be funny it is funny, the same is true for when the movie needs to deliver its scary aspects.

I think Frank Thompson (IV) and Joseph Musso worked wonderful in The Alamo Documentary. The great supporting cast includes Frank Thompson (IV), Joseph Musso, Joan Headley, Stephen L. Hardin, Richard Flores (II).

You should see it, make no mistake this is a definite blockbuster!

Summary of The Alamo Documentary:
INVESTIGATES THE HISTORY, MYTH AND POPULAR CULTURE OF THE ALAMO!

On March 6, 1836 the 13-day siege of the Alamo ended. Among the dead were three men destined to become martyrs and heroes: David Crockett, James Bowie and William B. Travis. Cries of Remember the Alamo! would eventually fuel an American victory over Mexico. The Alamo and its defenders grew into enduring symbols of courage and sacrifice in the face of overwhelming odds.

Controversy has always been part of the history and legend of the Alamo. Whether they hold traditional or revisionist views, people are passionate about their opinions.

~Were Crockett, Travis and Bowie a "Holy Trinity" or less than perfect human beings?
~Why were Tejanos like Juan Seguin, who fought for Texas liberty alongside the Anglos, virtually ignored in history books until recently?
~How did Crockett die?
~Did Travis draw a line in the sand?
~How many defenders were really there, and how many attackers?
~Did everyone die, or were there survivors?

Since 1836, the Alamo and its heroes have been immortalized in countless poems, songs, plays, books and movies. The films of Walt Disney starring Fess Parker inspired a Davy Crockett craze that covered the nation with coon skin caps and merchandise ranging from games to salt shakers to ladies underwear.

Jagged Edge- It is a movie that everyone can enjoy together. This is something not usually seen in movies of this type, so it makes it an unusual, yet pleasant experience. The movie is absolutely stunning and Glenn Close deliver some award-winning performances in this movie. I also think Maria Mayenzet was great!

I think Glenn Close and Maria Mayenzet worked wonderful in Jagged Edge. The great supporting cast includes Glenn Close, Maria Mayenzet, Peter Coyote, Jeff Bridges, Dave Austin.

I left some information, immages, and video previews of Jagged Edge below.

Summary of Jagged Edge:
Before screenwriter Joe Eszterhas wrote the ridiculous Showgirls, he crafted some entertaining if porous thrillers along the lines of the 1985 Jagged Edge, a taut mystery about an attorney (Glenn Close) who defends a newspaper publisher (Jeff Bridges) accused of murder. The fact that Close's character falls for him is more convenient than plausible, but it is a necessary emotional bridge for Eszterhas and the late director Richard Marquand (Eye of the Needle) to build toward a powerful finale. Scary, fun as courtroom dramas go, the film is well serviced by the two lead stars and has impressive support from costar Peter Coyote and especially from Robert Loggia, who plays Close's cop buddy. --Tom Keogh
